As you read through this psalm, attempt to find the eleven commands given to God\u2019s people (&#8220;give thanks,&#8221; etc.). Historic psalms are good for us to read through as we see that God called His people to remember the good He has done. When we do this, we can trust Him to do good for us in the present and future.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1-6-Call to Praise<\/li>\n<li>7-11-Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob<\/li>\n<li>12-22-Joseph<\/li>\n<li>23-38-Exodus<\/li>\n<li>39-41-Wilderness<\/li>\n<li>42-45-Summary of all blessings mentioned and a command to praise God<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This psalm was written when David brought the Ark into Jerusalem as an offering of praise to God (<span style=\"font-family: Trebuchet MS;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/teach4god.com\/OTS\/2012\/04\/02\/1-chronicles-16\/\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span style=\"font-family: Trebuchet MS; color: #0000ff;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span style=\"font-family: Trebuchet MS; color: #0000ff;\">see our study on 1 Chronicles 16<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-family: Trebuchet MS;\">). <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Whereas this psalm stands as a testimony of the good God brought to Israel, Psalm 106 presents the case of how God\u2019s people betrayed Him (<span style=\"font-family: Trebuchet MS;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/teach4god.com\/OTS\/2012\/03\/26\/psalm-106\/\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span style=\"font-family: Trebuchet MS; color: #0000ff;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span style=\"font-family: Trebuchet MS; color: #0000ff;\">see our study<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-family: Trebuchet MS;\">).<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>When you remember what God has done for and through you, do you trust Him with today and tomorrow? If you state He has done nothing, look again.
