My Continual Prayer

Psalm 141/1 Thessalonians 5.17

“The Christian life is not divided or compartmentalized but united and continual!”

I call on Thee, O Lord make haste to me. Give ear to my voice.

I call on Thee, O Lord give ear to my voice, when I call on Thee.

CHORUS:

This is my prayer, continually.

I know You care, You care for me.

This is my prayer, continually.

O give me life abundantly.

Let my prayer be counted, let it be counted before You.

My evil deeds have mounted, I fail at everything that I do.

Set a guard over my mouth, O Lord keep my evil lips sealed.

Take away my evil desires, O Lord I really wanna be healed.

(CHORUS)

Let a good man show me the way. Let him rebuke me in love.

Help me turn the evil one away, this is my plea to God above.

Lord, when I fall, lift me up. Don’t let me lie there in sin.

Lord, hear my call, O fill my cup. Abide with my soul again.

(CHORUS)

My feeble eyes look to the Lord, in You I seek my peace.

Don’t leave me Lord without a sword. This human life needs Your release.

Keep me from the trap which Satan laid for me, keep me from his snares.

Let the wicked fall down on their knees. O Lord, hear my prayers!

(CHORUS)
